Friday Favorite: Restoration Hardware?

So, I'm kind of a snob when it comes to furniture from big chain stores. I'm usually not impressed. This week I got the Restoration Hardware catalog in the mail. I like to search through it, just to keep up with what's new and what accessories they have. I was pretty surprised to find these dining sets. They really are good looking!
The new line of furnishings is made from reclaimed wood, which gives it such a warm feeling and patina. As a disclaimer: I haven't actually seen this furniture in person, so I can't vouch for its quality. (That is my biggest issue with furniture from chain stores). I do like the prices, though:) What do you think?

I love them..but somethings are overpriced and the inventory is BAD> I wanted a table and could not get it because I live in Texas. Its in stock for CA only...to me thats nuts..so I will take my money somewhere else.

The images look great, the sort of thing I think of as inheritable quality (if the camera does not lie). I'd buy them like a shot, especially those chairs in your top image. They'd look just as good in a bedroom as they would at a dining-table.

Tamstyles: That's good to know. Not being available in Texas does us no good!

I think the new look is wonderful and I am so excited about their association with BoBo Intriguing Objects. Very cool. Hope it's all as good in "real life"!

I look at it from a completely different angle....and once again, where did restoration hardware get their creative sources from?
Well, this time around it is BoBo Intriguing object meets Interieurs New York and wow...here is the new inspired Restoration Hardware catalog. Needlass to say I did not attend their grand opening party in New York!!! Unlike them, at Interieurs, we ship a lot to Texas....at least we did until the economy tanked.

Yes it is good looking, R.H. is big on marketing and presentation. But being in the furniture business for years, I really doubt the quality, in fact I believe it is overpriced for what it is..

I know I'm a little late in the game here, Carolina, and I may not be able to speak to the overall quality as mentioned previously, but I can still drool over the styling! Swooning! :)

I can't beliieve I'm writing this, but I actually kind of miss the old Resto...everything is just so industrial chic now...It's a little one-dimensional, no?
