A Different Perspective

I often love squinting my eyes when looking at something, so I can only see beautiful colors. Trever Hoehne's series called "Blurry Things" does just that. Try it sometime! Even the most mundane object takes on a whole new appearance.
Note: I also see the world like this every time I take my glasses off...Astigmatism.

i like the blurry shots...silly as it sounds but i saw the film 'yes man' not so long ago and the girl in the movie ran around taking 'blurry shots of objects while running' and i thought what a cool and obscure thing to do to transform the norm..maybe i will get the few pics that i have taken posted on my own blog!!! i've also often wondered where the impressionists or pointilism painters people who painted without their glasses on?!? my world is a fuzzy wonder until i put my specs on...

CBD: I think you are on to something about Impressionists. You should post your photos, its a great concept.

DF: You know I started doing that quite a few years ago, when an art teacher would have us squint while looking at our own work. He said it helps to understand composition.

TDB and KR: They are a great effect and such a simple idea!
