I'm Off to Round Top!

I am very excited...I'm going to Round Top on Friday! Don't get me wrong, I'm not going on a weekend expedition in an R.V. like a couple of other girls I know :) I'm actually going with my husband for one day. We enjoy it because its one of the few trips we can take, kid free.
Woo Hoo!
Its a short trip...but we still have fun. Just to clarify something about myself, when I go shopping; I go on a mission! I show up with a plan and execute it. No messing around. So, true to form; I already know what I am going to be looking for. First and foremost, I would like to find large scale prints; or anything that can be displayed on the wall.
I would give anything to find a beautiful map like this one via Absolutely Beautiful Things.
Ooh, I hope I can find anything even somewhat similar to these illustrations. I found these on a very cool blog called BibliOdessey.
I do have a back-up plan, in case I don't find prints I like. I also love looking for organic or industrial looking pieces. This home found on Shoot Factory. Every room is furnished with cool odds and ends. The metal cabinet placed alongside the the rustic pot is my favorite. Maybe I can locate an antique ceiling medallion! Anyway, we'll see how it goes. Wish me luck!

Ahhh you'll have a blast RV or no RV. Wave to the Artesian for us as you pass through Brenham. Heck, you may even want to stop in for a round of air hockey or take a swing in their batting cages.

You will have so much fun and I can't wait to see all of your finds. I have a feeling you'll come home loaded down! Lots of great scores to be found on the last weekend. You did see that picture of my neighbor's truck from October when we went on the last day, didn't you?! Sending lots of good junkin' wishes.

You know the other reason I take my husband is so he can lug things around and pack them into his pick-up.
I can't wait till tomorrow, and I hope I do find great junk.

Carolina,
I hope that you will come home with your pick-up full of amazing finds. And thank you for great source for antique prints. The BibliOdyssey blog is a great place.
